Fallen angel
Listen to me
I know you’ve been hurt
Like you fly with broken wings
But it is actually
A broken heart
I could not begin to fathom
The pain you felt
Not even half
Not even close
But if I could
I would take your place
So you could be free
Fallen angel
Allow me to heal you
From inside out
I promise you
From deep within my heart
That I would never hurt you
I know you doubt
What I say
But please believe it true
And if I have to
I’ll prove myself to you
