Haha, you thought I was talking about a sports car. I am really bad at jokes. Nope, I’m talking about this…

The Geo Metro

Yes! The Metro is making a come back, but not as a new car. More like this car is under high popular demand thanks to the American oil crisis.  Record prices for this car on Ebay… $7000 plus. Hey that was more than it was when it first came out.  Reason in that is, my mother, in 1996 bought a Metro for about $4000 or less. (And yes cars were less than $10k -_-) Before this oil crisis, in the blue book it was worth at most $300. Here are some specs of the car:

• Fuel Capacity: 10.6 gallons
• MPGs: 50+
• 2 door hatchback or 4 door sedan
• 3 cylinder engine/ 4 cylinder engine (1995 and later models)
• 50 to 55 Horse power
• 5 speed manual transmission or 3 speed automatic

 

I use to pick on my mother for her little car. Not now though. There in lies my reasons *looks at gas prices*. So you want to pay less for gas then here is a suggestion: Go get a Geo Metro or some other used car that gets great gas mileage. If you can’t maintain your car. (That means replace parts when you are suppose to.) If you can’t do that yourself then go to a garage and get a tune up. Don’t do what my father do to our Geo and let your’s have the same spark plugs from when you first got it. (11 year old spark plugs to be exact. O_O) 

Oh my goodness, it’s a life-sized Microsoft mouse! I’ve always wanted one of those!

… Oh wait, it’s a Metro. Man, I always get those confused! Am I the only one thinks it looks like one life-sized version of a Microsoft mouse when you have it painted white?

Okay… okay, I know a seriously bad joke, but heh I do that a lot. ^_^; But in all seriousness, doesn’t it? I mean look at it.
