Project Dropped

Well… I received news just now from the project creator, Melle555, has dropped the project due to the fact that she found that her shorter pieces worked better and that this project was taking too much time.  Mainly that was my fault, but several factors came into play.

Things that are suppose to be filled with non-fantasy drama and non-fantasy love stories take me longer to write.  Reason in that lies the fact that fantasy is really all I write. Sure the script was fantasy in the way of fictional places and people, but it was missing the magic, wars, non-human beings, and far away places that no human could ever dream of except the writer, themselves.  No person ever sees the same place unless put into a visual format, but even if it was the book reader saw something different than the creator.

My feelings on this dropped project is actually quite miniscule. I can’t tell you that I’m happy that it has been dropped, but I can be. Actually I have to admit that I had forgotten the script almost entirely. No matter… I can once again return my attention back to the demonic realms and vampires that I normally immerse myself in.

As a side note, I will be leaving the first scene up regardless of its situation. Who knows, maybe I’ll come back to it, but with a different approach.  Novel-like…possibly. For those of you who were eager to see more of this script I give you my apologies and sincerestly hope that you understand. There is really no point for me to continue it when I don’t have a reason to other than maybe finishing it, but that, like I said is sometime in the distant future.

Fallen~Act I~Scene I

Author’s Note: This is not final. When it is final this note will disappear. Bear with me Alexiel on the main character’s name. I couldn’t think of anything else when writing. His name is already decided so I can’t change it.

++++++++++

(A variety of the sets flash up as Alex speaks)

Alex: You know the feeling where you’re on top of the world and nothing can take you down…everything is perfect. Well, there are somethings in life that trump that. Divorces, who knew they had suck an effect on you and your life. It has been bittersweet. Maybe I’ll be better-abled to handle this thing in the town my mother grew up in…away from the rest of the world…practically hidden. I’m not staying too hopeful.

(After Alex is done speaking his first part the camera focuses on him walking toward the school’s main office then enters the room.)

Mrs. Russell: *speaks in a cheerful voice * Good morning! How may I help you?

Alex: Uh… Hello, I’m wondering if you could possibly give me my schedule.

Mrs. Russell: Sure, hun. *looks over Alex’s shoulder * Oh, good morning, Brandon. How are you, dear?

(Brandon walks up to the counter with a smile on his face)

Mrs. Russell: Excuse me for a minute.

Alex: Sure sure.

Brandon: Ah, I’m doing alright. How about yourself?

Mrs. Russell: I’m doing fantastic since the festival went off great without a hitch. *tone changes to a soft and sad * How is Marilin since you know…Rachael’s…passing?

Brandon: Mom appears to be fine. She has been keeping busy with a variety of things. I believe she is hiding what she is truly feeling to spare everyone…to keep us from worrying. You could even ask her how she is and she just says she is fine. She convinces everyone else, but I have my doubts.

Mrs. Russell: *nods * Well, it sounds like she is holding out alright, but I’m sure you didn’t come here to chit-chat. *laughs lightly *

Brandon: Actually…I came here for my schedule.

Mrs. Russell: Oh, that is what he came for. What is your name?

Alex: It’s Newman, Alex Newman.

Mrs. Russell: I heard Carol came back from New York. Why is that?

Alex: No reason in particular.

Brandon: Actually this news of your mom returning would possibly get my mother in a cheery spirit.

Mrs. Russell: I’m very sorry, Alex. I didn’t mean to keep you waiting.

Alex: No, no… It is quite alright.

Mrs. Russell: You sure?

Alex: Yes, I’m quite sure.

Mrs. Russell: Alright then here you go. *hands both Alex and Brandon there schedules *

Alex: Thank you. Um…you wouldn’t happen to have a map of the school?

Brandon: Hey, how about I show you around?

Alex: Oh, really? If you are fine with that then sure, why not?

Brandon: No prob.

Mrs. Russell: Bye, boys. Make sure you tell your mothers I said hello.

Brandon: We will. Bye.
